Several years ago, local baker and entrepreneur Crystal Bubash purchased Rose Hill Bakery, beginning a new chapter for the beloved Caldwell business. Crystal has continued building upon Rose Hill’s foundation of traditional baking, quality ingredients and small-batch production while making the bakery very much a family endeavor.

Stop by the downtown bakery, and there is a good chance you will be welcomed by Crystal or one of her daughters. That personal connection is part of what makes Rose Hill so special. Behind every loaf, scone and sweet treat is a local family working together to serve its community.

Long-Fermented Sourdough, Made From Scratch

Rose Hill is especially known for its long-fermented sourdough. Made with organic flour, malted barley and hard red wheat, the dough is allowed to slowly develop its distinctive flavor and satisfying texture.
